Mogolympics Closing Ceremonies
The final votes have been tallied and all the results are officially in. JD has the Closing Ceremonies over at Amateur Azerothian. Go check out the Judge’s Choice awards, find out which outfit scored the highest overall, which faction won the most medals, and which contestant had the most consistent performances! Also, don’t forget to check out the official Mogolympics website for an archive of all the outfits, including WoWhead and Mogit links to help you recreate your favourite looks.
Almost five months in the making, from planning stages to final round, and the Mogolympics have come to an end. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. Thank you for letting me be a part of this event, JD. Thanks also go to all my fellow judges — you’re the only ones who truly know how difficult it was to score the entries! I greatly appreciated all our frantic, joyous — and sometimes despairing — email exchanges. 🙂
Of course, no one put more work into this than JD, so an extra special thank you to him for making this possible.
Every single contestant produced amazing work, and you should all be very proud of yourselves whether you won a medal or not. There were over 400 outfits entered and only 26 medals awarded! It was an extremely tough competition. So, thank you for entering. Thank you for being willing to work so hard and put that work out there for all to see. Thank you for being patient while waiting for the results to come in, and for being so gracious and generous with your comments. Also, if you have a blog where you’ve posted your outfits, or your own commentary on the events, please leave me a link in the comments so I can finally know which entries belonged to whom!
Now for a nice, long break from judging duties! 😀
Will miss the emails, lol!
Me too! But there’s always Real ID! 😀
No, you won’t. LOL
Thanks for the kind words, and thanks so much for being a judge. I appreciated it very much.
It was my pleasure! But, uh, let’s take a long break before the next one, ok? LOL
No arguments here. 😉
