Shanthi — Priest Gift Art

Happy Monday morning before Mists of Pandaria launch, everyone!  Are you all prepared for the new expansion?

I am not prepared (to paraphrase Illidan).  For one thing, I’ve been procrastinating, so I suppose today is the day to finally sit down and go through my inventory.  For another, I wanted to finish the art project I’ve been working on before all my free time goes into leveling and gearing up for raiding.

I used to fancy myself a bit of an artist, but for the last few years I haven’t drawn anything at all.  However, about 3 months ago I suddenly felt the urge to create something.  I’m notorious for starting projects and abandoning them; so to motivate myself I offered to draw Minstrel’s main, his Disc Priest Shanthi.  And here she is!

Some of you transmogging aficionados will probably recognize a lot of the gear she’s wearing.  I did change certain pieces and added some details to better suit how Minstrel envisions her.

I’m so glad I finally finished something!  Yay!  I almost feel like a productive member of society!
